In Thai Yoga Massage I help you to relax and safely move into modified and assisted yoga postures adjusted according to your body type and condition. You will be supported through clear dialogue, stretching, yogic breathing, gentle palming and thumbing along subtle energy meridians. Thai Yoga Massage confers the very same benefits of both yoga and massage in one modality! In addition to toning and stretching the muscles, Thai Massage improves circulation, relieves muscular tension, strengthens the immune system and balances the body energetically, inducing a calm mental state. A skillful session of this massage just makes you feel really good!

Preparation for Thai Yoga Massage: Wear comfortable pants, clean socks and a tee shirt. It is a good idea to fast or eat lightly on the day of a massage. You can change clothes at the OM Yoga Studio.

Shirodhara: Shirodhara is an ancient Ayurvedic healing practice performed in India for over 2,000 years. It is traditionally used to calm the nerves, harmonize vata constitutions, restore the nerves, release emotions, and purify the mind. In Ayurvedic medicine, shirodhara is considered an important tool in the pursuit of higher states of consciousness. Shirodhara has been traditionally shown to help with fatigue, mental exhaustion, anxiety, insomnia, some mental disorders, headache, excessive thinking, nervousness, and many other conditions commonly affecting Americans in today’s active vata deranging lifestyle.

Preparation for Shirodhara: Bring a clean one quart glass jar to take the used shirodhara oil home with you for your personal massage use. Wear comfortable clothes and bring two large towels – one to wrap the head in afterwards and one to place under the neck and one small hand towel to place over the eyes.
